Major Project Progress

I am very happy at the moment as David Farber, one of the historians most integral to my project, replied to my email.

Natasha,
Good to hear from you.  You might take a look at the essay I wrote on the use of LSD in the Sixties era published in ImagineNation (Routledge), edited by Michael Doyle (someof the footnotes ight be useful, too).  You might also look at the essay by Doyle in the book I edited called the Columbia Guide to America in the 1960s.  I have not seen a good historiographical essay on drug use on the 60s - so you have picked an excellent topic.
Did you know that I just came back last night from Australia after having served for two weeks as a visiting scholar at the U. of Melbourne?!?
thanks,
David Farber

Although I have already read his essay, he's provided an interesting lead with the Doyle essay. This will help immensely with my project and, above all, it's nice to know I've chosen a topic which requires historical attention. I'll let you know if I receive any other replies (I also emailed DeGroot, although he  hasn't replied - as yet!)
