Major Project Progress
I have continued working on my major though I am still at a loss as to how i can improve mny arguments. i really need to solidify my points of view and make sure all claims are backed up by substantial evidence and historical references. I have worked on expressing the legacy proclaimed by the revisionist historians though i feel my argument remains quite "loose" and requires greater emphasis. I am trying to make a huge point - that the overall legacy of the sixties drug culture is that it allows the era to be manipulated to aid political agendas. The happenings of the era may be easily vilified or vindicated in order to further political ideology. In this way, the sixties counterculture and the use of psychedelics has had a lasting legacy which may rightfully be understood as a political as well as cultural legacy. This is a huge point and - with a dwindling word count - a very difficult one to make. Therefore, I may need to condense previous arguments in order to provide room to actually communicate explicitly the extent of this legacy.
