Major Project Progress

This is driving me crazy! Not only am I struggling to finish my conclusion but I have that whole "What's your question?" thing going around and around in my head. I'm sort of confused -  the way I understood it was that my question was too simple, but it's not my question that should be complex, it's my essay! My question was simple, I know that, but I was tackling drug use in an entire decade!! That's a pretty vast topic. Therefore, doesn't it make sense to have a quite simple question? If my question were complex, it would have led me down a thousand different, chaotic paths. This way, I started off with on central line of thought - what intent did sixties drug users bring to their drug taking - which led to several different answers and forced me to question other thing - what was the drug culture like? what sort of environment was it? considering all this, what is the legacy of this tumultuous, permissive and controversial aspect of sixties culture? Looking at it that way, I think I HAD to have a simple question, otherwise i never would have answered a question at all!
